WodBeat
WodBeat privacy policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy describes the data processed by the WodBeat app, published by Zilath Labs, on iOS and Android.
In short
- WodBeat requires no account: we collect neither your name nor your email address.
- Your sessions and settings are stored on your device and are not sent to us.
- The app shows ads (Google AdMob) and sends crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics, Google). Both services receive technical data from your device, detailed below.
- WodBeat does not use the microphone. The app’s voice is generated by AI in advance and played during the session.
Data controller
The publisher of WodBeat, identified in the legal notice. Contact: contact@zilath.com.
Data stored on your device
Your sessions and settings are stored in the app. They never leave your device and we have no access to them. They are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
- Data: device advertising identifier, IP address, device and system information, interactions with ads.
- Purposes: showing ads, measuring their performance, preventing fraud and, if you consent, personalising ads.
- Legal basis: your consent, for personalised ads and for access to device identifiers.
- Giving and withdrawing consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google consent form (User Messaging Platform) asks for your choice when the app starts. No ad is requested, and the advertising service is not even started, until this form allows it. If you decline, WodBeat remains fully usable and ads are not personalised. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in Settings › About › Privacy settings; it applies from the next ad, without restarting the app.
- Recipients: Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, which process this data under their own terms (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
- Retention: as set by Google.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
When the app crashes, a report is sent to us so we can fix the problem.
- Data: installation identifiers (Crashlytics and Firebase), device model and characteristics, system and app versions, technical trace of the error.
- Purpose: detecting and fixing errors in the app.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (providing an app that works).
- Recipient: Google LLC (Firebase), as processor.
- Retention: 90 days, after which Google deletes the reports.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google may process this data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Google participates, and by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to object to and restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them: contact@zilath.com.
We hold no data that directly identifies you. For advertising data, you can also reset or delete the advertising identifier in your device settings.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
